You will need 1,000,000 XP to attain level 50 in Full house poker.
My solution nets you tons of points. You can use this in any offline single player mode. The best way to do it is to replay pro takedowns, as you will also net a bonus at the end of the round when you win. For starters, the AI on this game is incredibly predictable. They play textbook poker and are very timid for the most part. You are going to either want to play a pro takedown as mentioned above, or any two seat game (tournament) offline against the computer. Once play starts, blast the computer with raises. Raise to 3x the big blind (starts at 10, so in this case the raise would be 30, and the computer will fold like crazy. Pretty soon you will be racking up 500+ points a hand, usually every 30 seconds for building up a winning streak. Raise on every hand except premium hands (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ, AJ, ect.) As the blinds increase, make sure to increase your raises as well. In the unlikely event that you are called often (I will explain more about this below) you will play a little differently. If you are re-raised, fold immediately. You are probably facing a hand better than your own. At the time of the writing of this guide I was hopping 2, sometimes 3 levels per game. If you are called:
Unless you have a big hand (see below), you are going to try and take the hand away from the weaker computer players if you do not make a hand. Bet out on the flop, anywhere from 75% to 100% of the pot to attempt to steal. If the computer raises, fold immediately, if you are called, check/fold. The computer will rarely succumb to a raise on the turn or river, they tend to get locked into their hands.
When you are playing pro takedowns it is your mission to end the game as quickly and easily with a monster hand, so you can net the big bonuses. With the hands I mentioned above, you are going to attempt to trap the computer. Instead of raising with the AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ, AJ; instead limp into the flop with a check. If you end up making top pair or three of a kind, check to the computer and let him do the betting until the river, where you can make a large bet or slam him with an all-in (which i like, nets you an extra +250). If you fail to make a hand, you can attempt to steal or fold.
Also as a note: rarely, you will run into players that do not fold up like accordions when you raise pre-flop. These players must be played more conventionally, like you would an online opponent. Try to trap when you have big hands (check, small bet), and re-raise when you feel they are bluffing. I would estimate one out of every 10 to 15 you encounter are like this, just wanted to give the heads-up.
ADDENDUM: Once you get to level 20 or so you may find it more profitable to jam all in during a pro takedown. This will actually net you more points as such, playing against Singh whom you unlock around level 20 will net you 12,500 points per game. After you get such large bonuses, there is no longer any need to actually PLAY POKER. Just put it all in every time and try to suck out. It is dumber, but at the higher levels, the expected points potential is higher per hour than the one outlined above. Would not advise doing this before level 18-20 or so, though, as you want to have enough cash advance to play the pro again. |

Just play Pro Takedowns until you unlock Mel Matthews. He will fold the vast majority of the time if you raise at least 3x before the flop (I usually went $100-200). Just about every hand you'll be getting the +50 deal in, +500 winning streak, and maybe a +100 schooled bonus.
Normally if he puts up any money or calls you, he's got a King or an Ace. Once you whittle his money down enough, he'll end up having no choice but to go all in on most hands. When this happens, you'll probably beat him pretty quick for the 10,000 xp bonus.
Most games against Mel using this tactic, I would gain about a level and a half, at a pace of about 1 level every 10-15 minutes. Just gotta grind it out to 50.
PS: This is a lot like the solution posted by phatal1ty; the only difference being you don't need a boosting partner to press B for 5 hours. Mel does that pretty well on his own :) |

The easiest way to do this is to play any of the pro takedown games.
Go all in on every hand, CPU will fold nearly every time and you''ll get 600+ XP per hand. I have been getting huge amount of xp doing this.
Once in a while the CPU will call you, then its just a case of luck, I won as much as I lost on the all in calls, but when it does happen you'll still be able to carry on since you'll have the most chips and won't be out
I've also beaten all of the Pro Takedowns with this method and a little luck |

| The best AI to do a pro take down against for this is Larry Louche. He's a bully and usually goes all in against you. Start an all pro tournament against him and go all in no matter what you have. He will almost always call this. If you win you get 7,500 xp very easy, if you lose you lose very little chips and get 600 xp for second place. The xp earn't from this is so high its worth the risk, even if you lose 5 in a row and win just 1 you'll still of earn't 10,500xp + any little bits (all in to win, showdown winner etc). If you won every other hand it would take you just under 200 hands to reach level 50 from level 1. This may sound a lot but compared to other methods this is very quick. You can start the game, go all in and win/lose in under two minutes so if it took you 200 games this would take you no more than 7 hours. The benefits of this method is that you can do it alone and there a bit of a thrill to see if you win or not! Also Larry compared to Mel or Rai has a lower risk buy in, good xp for his buy in and also much more likely to go all in straight away! Hope it goes well for you! |

The other solutions are great, but if you have a turbo controller:
set up a standard table, 250 buy in, turbo controller on the B button to fold every hand, and let it run while you sleep. I got about 500k in 7 hours last night. It costs you the blinds, but at the 250 table, that's 3 chips every 10 hands, or 30 chips every 100 hands. You get 250 xp every hand for being dealt in, 250 xp for get out free 8/10 hands, and should get 500 xp for smart fold bonuses at least half of the time. |

**Edited Disclaimer: The WP7 and Arcade version of this game were released to work in conjunction with each other. Money and EXP you earn in the WP7 version will count toward your total in the Arcade version. This solution will ONLY work for anyone that has both the WP7 version and the Arcade version.**
You can level up faster in the Arcade version by using your WP7 game. When I first started the Arcade version, I had just completed the WP7 version at Level 50. Once all my stats, experience and money was transferred over to the Arcade version, I think it put me at level 39. I played some and gained some more experience and got up to level 41, but that was after a couple of Pro Takedowns and a couple of long 10 player tournaments.
On a whim, I went back to the WP7 version and went back to beating Daisy Deuce in the Pro Takedown. My experience is maxed out in the WP7 version, but it keeps adding to my total over the 50 level mark. I just kept playing for about 15 minutes or so, winning several more games against Daisy, and I went back to the Arcade version and my experience went from 41 to 50, because of all the extra experience I had accumulated in the WP7 version. To get the achievement to pop, just start a new game (any kind of game) and as it completes the loading screen and starts zooming around the tables, your achievement will pop.
So, if you want to level up fast, and have the WP7 version of the game, just go back to the beating Daisy Deuce method and you will get your level 50 in no time.
This method will also work if you need additional money to get the $500,000 achievement.

Ding! Top Dog!
I found this out while going for the achievement Alpha dog:
By doing this method you will unlock this achievement, just make sure to DL the DLC on the Dashboard called Full House Poker: Texas Heat, Summer 2012 Season.
Pretty much you go into Single player, Tournament, High format, No limit for betting, Buy in 0, Turn timers Off, 1 table, and 2 players per table. All you have to do is hit Y over and over and over, some AI's depending on who you will play with will call right away, some will take forever to call. If you just keep doing this every time they fold you will get 500 exp.
The best part about doin this method is that it only takes 1 hand to do it. If you win, you get a good amount of xp, a small amount of cash and all you have to do is reload it and repeat. I got about 50k exp doing it in 1 tourney, the AI would always fold. And if he called I would lose. If that happens just keep doing it and he will still keep folding.
Hope this helps! GL! |
