Well, it's no exactly a solution, more like a tip...
The fact is that many people think that you can play the Grand Slam once a week, or twice at the maximum (if you play with the female player as well). The trick is that you can play as many times as you wish!
All you have to do is create another player and level him up to level 20 (using the fast development stuff you get after you reach level 20 for the first time). Then whenever you lose the Grand Slam, switch the player for another one you created using the "change player" prompt you get everytime you enter the World Tour mode. Then you're gonna find that the Grand Slam is available to play again. Keep trying your luck in the Grand Slam and eventually you'll get there. If you're having difficulties, trying boosting with someone else.

BOOSTING SOLUTION
you need 5 players minimum (this will take about 45 minutes per person to get this achievement.... so 5 people going for it will take you at least 3 hours 45 minutes)
Player A wins a first round match against either of the other 4.
everybody else plays first round matches against each other
Player A then plays and wins a quarter finals against one of the other first round winners
everybody that continues to play first round matches against each other, and when 2 others can play in the quarters they do...
Player A plays the winner of the previous Quarters match and wins
Player A is now in the finals and everybody else keeps playing each other to get 2 players to the semis, one of them wins and plays PLAYER A in the finals....
The achievement is yours, just continue that for every player
*like carlos jpb said, you can play as many times as you want as long as you go to player creator and and make a new character for world tour
*we used female characters at level 0
*when searching for a match make sure the person u are trying to match up with is already in a lobby, (do not search at the exact same time or you will be put in separate lobbys)
