This challenge description might be a bit misleading. When you are in Road to the Masters mode and you begin the Masters tournament you get a training challenge, a sponsor challenge and the regular tournament. (Just like all the tournaments.) This achievement unlocked after passing the sponsor challenge (which is shooting under par in the 9 hole par three course), and winning the Masters tournament. There is no real Par 3 tournament where you are up against other golfers. One other thing to keep in mind...even when playing in amateur mode...the power boost and spin capabilities are disabled for the regular Master's tournament so you will be playing on a pro-style difficulty. (At least that's how it worked for me.)
