Very easy. When you find the scholar in town, talk to him and answer all of his questions. If you got any wrong, he will tell you the correct answer. Pause and end the game without leaving town, when you go back into conquest mode, re-enter the town and he should ask you the same questions again.

Edit: After a while, some explanations they give will not actually answer the question, but you can back out as many times as you want and he will keep asking the same questions.
