This is free DLC, and once downloaded, is located in the "Personal Training" menu.

It is a 30 minute session, split over 12 sets (3 exercises per set as usual). Two out of every 3 sets are exercises which require dumbbells. Every third set is cardio exercises such as jumping jacks.

You'll find you need a little more room than usual, partly due to the nature of the exercises, and partly because the sensor seems to need more distance to pick up your movements accurately in this DLC for some reason.

I'd recommend using somewhat lighter dumbbells that you would normally use for bicep curls for example. I used 4kg (8.8lb) ones. 3-5kg (6.6-11lbs) I would suggest is reasonable dependant on your strength and fitness.

I'd also recommend a grippy exercise mat or some other non-slippy surface, or wearing grippy trainers/sneakers, as the routine includes exercises which could easily result in a sudden and unexpected splits if you don't have a good footing. Not what you want at the best of times, and especially with 10lbs of iron in each hand.

Before the exercises begin, you have the option of unlocking some gym balls to kick around as a warm-up, by "scanning in" a bottle of "Recover 03" Gatorade (by holding it up for the sensor to see). Presumably this is the sponsorship that makes this DLC free. Don't worry if you don't have such a thing - it's not essential, you can just skip it and it makes no difference to the achievement. If you happen to have a bottle of this lying around you might as well try it though! (Thanks coffeenebula and LearFool).

All you have to do for the achievement to pop is complete the 30 minute routine once. You can pause the game as much as you like during the routine, and I suspect you'll have to! It's one of the more intense workouts. Good luck.

If you don't care about actually doing the routine, you can just stand or even sit in front of the sensor while the game goes through the sessions. I pulled up a chair and wrote a paper on my laptop while the game went through the motions. Yeah, it's a cheater method but it works.

To add to the previous solutions - if you haven't nabbed 10 000 calories yet, and do want some workout from the game - you can take the middle road of doing as much as you can, and just moving around when it all gets a bit much, to skip to exercises you are more comfortable with. This way, if you are only moderately fit or worse, you will be able to move the next day. From memory, being a slightly unfit guy, I could get through ten minutes straight, and then alternated one activity on, one activity off for the last twenty.

Also, obviously the weights are optional. The workout is plenty intense without them, and the Kinect is lousy at identifying and adding calories when you do use weights (probably because it only knows to add ten pounds - boom boom). You can simulate the holding of weights by clenching fists, and the game will still register completed actions.
