The level itself is fairly straightforward and easy. Sleep whenever you can, and you'll have plenty of health and hydration.

That said, you're probably reading this right now because you keep falling off the damn horse when trying to jump to the train. Trust me, I've put in too many attempts to count. Bear gives you no visual clues that he's off-balance to the left or to the right. And, the checkpoint is ridiculously far away when you have to attempt multiple times...

First and foremost, lock-in that RT to the sweet spot, and don't adjust at all as you begin standing and jumping. I like to touch both the RT button and controller with my index finger to ensure it doesn't move. Also, I recommend going ahead and putting your thumb over the A button now so you won't have to adjust your grip when it's time to jump.

The trick is not to watch Bear the character but rather focus on steadying the entire camera angle. For example, if Bear is off-balance to his left, the whole screen will start leaning left a little, and then he'll fall off. As Bear starts to stand up on the horse, don't let the camera angle change whatsoever. THAT is the only information you'll have to balance Bear when he's preparing to jump.

As for the jump itself, I'd recommend steadying yourself for a half second on the horse and then hit A. Go for it as the door is opening, not when it's open. I would also recommend going for it on the first available chance, as Bear falls often without reason when standing.

Message me if you have specific questions/problems, and I'll do my best to help.

Hopefully for making us all go through this, we'll get to eat this horse when Man Vs Wild 2 comes out. For now, the only retribution you can give back to Bear is to continually make him drink his own urine.
