I have written 2 solutions first has no spoilers the second one does.
1st Solution no spoilers
This is a story based achievement and cannot be missed. All you need to do if follow the marker on your compass, check your pip boy and speak to people and you should have problem obtaining this achievement if you do get stuck look below for the spoiler solution I have written.
2nd Solution *SPOILERS*
After arriving at Zion you will be ambushed. Fight off the white legs. Once they are all dead loot what you want and start following the marker on your compass. You will head across a bridge and encounter some more white legs, kill them. Follows-chalk will now talk to you and tell you to follow him to a camp to speak to Joshua. There will be a mark on your compass to follow.
Once at the camp go in to the cave and find Joshua. Speak to him and he will give you 3 quests. "roadside attraction" "gone fishing" "tourist trap" You will complete these in this order as its the best route to take. These 3 quests are to gather up the supplies for Daniel. When doing these Follows-chalk will follow and he will kill most enemies for you if can't be bothered.
First roadside attraction. Follow the marker on the compass until you find a crashed bus in a stream, Go and look inside and you will find a compass. It needs repairing and the quickest and easiest way to do this is if your repair skill is at 30 and just to repair it. There are other options but take a bit more to do. Thats this quest complete.
Second gone fishing. Follow the mark on the compass to the Zion fishing lodge. Go inside the lodge and head behind the bar. There is a cabinet there that is locked. Pick the lock. Its easier than finding the key. If you break the lock just reload the auto save from when you entered the lodge. Once the cabinet is opened pick up the walkie talkies and quest complete.
Third tourist attraction. There will be 2 markers on the compass, follow the one to the general store first. Head in to the store to find 5 lil scout lunch boxes. All 5 will be marked on your compass but here is where they are
*2 on the counter opposite end to cash register
*1 under the window in a box opposite side of the store to the first 2
*1 in the locked desk in the back room
*1 behind the rake near the desk with the previous one. Note you may have to pickup the rake to be able to pickup the lunch box.
Now you have all 5 leave the store and head to the Zion ranger station. This should now be the only marker on your compass. Its really close to the store.
Once at the Zion ranger station go inside and follow the marker to find a contaminated medical supply. Sort out the medical supply. This requires 30 medicine skill. Its the quickest and easiest option for this quest. Quest now complete and that will trigger a new one to appear in pip boy "deliverer of sorrows".
You will have a new marker on your compass to follow to get to Sorrows camp. Once there follow the marker to find Daniel and speak to him. Tell him you have the supplies that Joshua said he would need and listen to him talk for a while. Once you get options to reply to him the quest will be completed and the achievement will pop.

To get this achievement, you're going to have to do 4 quests. They are easy so shouldn't take long to do. As the achievement brief states, you need to resupply Daniel and the Sorrows. This means you need to go to a few locations and pick up some items and then deliver them. Below are the quests...
Gone Fishin' - You need to head to the Zion Fishing Lodge and find some Walkie Talkies. They are in a cabinet that you need an average lock pick skill to open.
Roadside Attraction - You need to find a crashed Scout Bus and find a Compass, it is in the right hand side of broken bus.
Tourist Trap - For this quest you need to make your way to the general store and find 5 lunch boxes. They are easy to find so you shouldn't have a problem. One of them is in a desk that has an average (I think) lock. Next you need to go to the Ranger Station and find a medical supply kit. It is in the back room on a table in the corner.
Once you have completed all of these quests, you should get a new quest called "Deliverer of Sorrows" for this you simply need to visit the Narrows and speak to Daniel. Once you have handed the stuff over the achievement should unlock. |
