  Relatively simple achievement. Once your mining mech falls down the hole and you are back on foot, you meet the creepers, small crawling creatures. To get this achievement, you have to stomp on them with your foot, not melee them with your arm.
  
  What I found is that if they are attacking, you will melee them with your arm and it won't count. They have to be sitting docile (not attacking) and when you push RS, you'll stomp on them and get a kill for the achievement.
  
  Kills carry over between checkpoint restarts, so if you hit a part right after a checkpoint where there are a batch of creepers, try and stomp as many as possible and then reload the checkpoint.
  
  Credit given to Teamwrk for his comments - "perfect location to net this achievement during the first part of the "Water Supplies" mission (after you return the power cells to Bastion). You walk into a room full of creepers with a spawning nest at the bottom of the room."

  +1 to the Water Supplies comment - the rirst room (where you pick up the nanite gun) has one maybe two spawning points for them so it's pretty easy to rack up a sizable stomp count.

  nice solution m8 what I found out is that just before you press the right stick look up and 90% of the time it will do a stomp insted of hitting with the weapon

  Stomping is accomplished by using the melee attack (click the Right Stick) when very close to an enemy.
  
  I found that the best way to get this achievement is using the Pods that spawn nearly infinite Creepers. Kill any other enemies or Pods besides the target Pod, then just stand back from it and stomp the enemies that spawn from the Pod.
  
  In order to stomp instead of your normal melee, you must be standing almost directly on top of the Creeper. When they spawn from a Pod, they will be still for moment, which is when you will strike. Find the right distance from the Pod and just keep stomping until you hit 25. Also, the Pods on the ground are better than the ones on the walls.
  
  The first time you encounter a set of two Pods is where I got this. Kill the second Pod and stand in front of the first. That's all there is to it.

  This worked perfectly. I've found that the first melee knocks down the enemy (playing on the Insanity difficulty level) leaving them set up for an easy stomp kill. I finished off the remaining kills using your method and sitting by the Pod. Easy!

  Creepers are the crawling enemies you meet early in the game (note the silhouette in the achievement picture). You will know you have performed a melee finisher when you stomp on a creeper. The best way to do so, is to get up close on either side or behind and melee.
  
  I found it best to stand next to a pod and quickly run up to and stomp any enemies that pop out. They always jump out of the pod to the same location, and they always pause a bit before moving.
