Cold Arms, Cold Heart - 30g Defeat the Drowned Sailor without taking any damage.
You will come across the Drowned Sailor in Chapter 2. The Drowned Sailor has many of the same attacks as the Lost Souls you encounter earlier in the chapter.
Surprise Attack: The Drowned Sailor will disappear undergound and will eventually rush at you, slicing up with his weapon. When he does so, tap RB to dodge the attack. After the initial attack, he will drop back and release a second downward slicing attack. Again tap RB to dodge. After missing with the downward attack the Sailor will become stunned and he will be sitting on the ground. At this time you're free to use any weapon you please to attack him.
Bombs Away: The Sailor will appear with two bombs in his hands. Shoot at him with the pepper grinder, and the bomb will eventually blow up on him, stunning him and knocking him to the ground. Once on the ground, feel free to use any weapon you please to attack him.
Rinse and repeat. Dodge the attacks and before too long, you will down him easily, without taking any damage.
*If you don't succeed, hit the Start button and then choose Restart. It will take you to your last checkpoint, which is just before you encounter the Drowned Sailor.*
Lastly, you will know when you are encountering the Drowned Sailor instead of a Lost Soul. How? It tells you. Subtitles come up and say "Drowned Sailor."
If you're going to vote negative, please say why! Thanks!

Thanks to Sandwich Lady for the exact chapter reload to go to in case you miss the cheeve on your first playthrough. "Just to add if you're reloading checkpoints then it is "Lost Souls Locker" on chapter 2 (one from last)" |

| You can get this about half way through Chapter 2. You fight some of the ghosts earlier but you have to wait until you get the cutscene with one of the pirate ghosts in it. All you have to do is dodge and counter attack and you can get it.

If you are really having difficulty getting this achievement for whatever reason, try this method I accidentally stumbled upon while playing the game. It takes places in Chapter 4, about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through, in one of the Radula Rooms.
Find the third Radula Room. It is a good deal through the level and you'll only access it after pulling a chain to gain access. Jump over two air vents and enter the shell. The challenge for this room is simply to survive. You'll fight two drowned sailers, as well as two daimyo wasps. For me, this got to be way too much, so I started dodging (since you only need to survive, not kill everything). Do this for about two minutes and the achievement should pop if you avoid getting hit. When I got it, I was surprised to say the least. If you're having trouble or simply dont want much hassle, this should work for you. |

I got this one on my second play-through (on Nightmare) and found it to be quite a bit easier than I was expecting (seeing as I missed it on easy). As soon as I was in battle with the Sailor, I locked on with the Pepper Grinder and let loose. As he would move, I would dodge twice and start shooting again. It took about 3 revolutions of this method before the died and the achievement unlocked. It should be noted that I had the Pepper Grinder fully upgraded by this point and I did not have to engage Hysteria.
Hope this helps. |
