Also keep in mind, there's a good infinite spawn point where a bridge falls out and you have to go get a strawberry in the swamp. The demons will only spawn if you're in the water, so you can stand on the shore if you get overwhelmed. This is a good spot for farming white gems or if you're going for the kill x enemies with whatever gun achievements.
