Make sure when you set up your dynasty to make a created coach and set his alma mater to whatever school you're going to take control of and have the contracts on. Play through the dynasty like normal and when you make it to the National Championship as #1 or 2 in the country and win the achieve will unlock, make sure you play the National Championship game or at least super sim in it until the end of the game and play the last minute or so just to be safe.

A couple of recommendations to add to previous guides. If you plan on just summing through the whole thing, you will want to choose a great team (I used Alabama), make the difficulty freshman, and turn autosave OFF. This way, you can exit and go back in if you lose.

Just to add to this. If you find a team whose current coach is an alum, you'll get the achievement. I used Virginia Tech, and their current coach, Frank Beamer graduated from their. I finished a Dynasty season, won the National Championship, and got it. I'm sure there's other schools who have coach alums.

No matter who you play as in Dynasty, before the BCS game, go and Edit your coach and make his alma mater your current school. I did this with Ohio State, and it worked fine. Even though every other game that season, including the conference championship (Big 10 Championship in this case.), his alma mater was some other school.
