From what I can tell, the contract lengths for coaches are generated when you make the dynasty. The easiest way to do this is to make a new dynasty and pick Army, Navy, Notre Dame, or BYU as your team until you get a 1 year contract for you're coach. Chances are that one of the teams are going to have a coach that needs to re-sign in a year. If not, just restart the dynasty and try again. From there, just follow the directions below.
Since you're an independent team, you can choose who to play against every week. Just set them up against 5 different FCS teams and a few other really bad teams like San Jose State. Then simulate through the season. You should win at least half the games, and you'll be resigned for coach at the end of the season. Takes about 10 minutes and no effort at all. |
