OK for all you people like me who just totally suck at drifting here's a guaranteed way to get it.
It doesn't matter what car you use but it must fit under a big rig truck to do this. Big rigs are mostly on the highways so that's where I did this.
Shift into any car that will fit under the truck. Drive up to the truck and turn under and hit the E-brake at the same time. If done correctly your car will be perpendicular to the truck. If you are starting to slide out the far side hit reverse so you don't slide out. If you start to slide back out the way you came hit the gas. What happens is the truck is pulling you along the highway sideways and it will register as a drift.
Be sure to watch the top right corner to see how much drift you are getting.
Keep hitting the gas or the reverse to stay under the truck til you get to 250 and then let yourself slide out. Stop so the drift registers and you will get the achievement.
I spent an hour in vain trying to get this on all different dirt roads and the most I got was 210. This took a few tries to get it right and 2 different cars cause I wrecked the first car, but I got it in less than 5 minutes.
It's dead simple.
Oh and all you guys who are good at drifting, can you not vote thumbs down please. There are lots of people like me who totally suck at drifting and this is an easy way to get this done. |
