The status and ranking and ranking system for the NHL series has been completely overhauled this installment and is now a culmination of three requirements.
To reach Rookie level 1 you`ll need:
10 Games played C+ Overall Grade 4 Wins
The toughest thing to maintain, especially as you get later in your career is overall grade. As a skater you're judged based on:
Position score - be where you need to be on the ice determined by your role, the blue arrow is a good indication of where you should be.
Team Play - team play can be judged a few different ways dependant on your role but boils down to hits, blocked shots, amount of offsides, turnovers, takeaways, shots, fights, face offs, dekes and penalties. This is the area most people have trouble with.
Stats - numbers don`t lie and the numbers they`re looking for here are goals, assists and a positive plus/minus
Play your role, work with your team and help get the puck in the net and you'll see your rank improve pretty quickly, have fun! |

| Just play games and try to get positive feedback and grades. It can be hard with drop in games because if one guy sucks you are pretty screwed. Try to find a team if you can but its doable in drop in games. |
