As with the original Pac-Man game, the 'Perfect' achievement is one of the most frustrating things you can attempt. Forget about Youtube videos of people getting lucky with it, here's what you need to do.

Firstly, set your lives to 5 on the main menu. It doesn't affect the achievement.

Clear an area around the first power pill (doesn't matter which but I always went with the bottom left). This is because the dots slow you down but don't affect the ghosts.

Try to leave a small nearby passageway uncleared. This is because when you eat the last power pill you don't want to accidently hit the last dot as this will end the level (trust me, that's a mistake you only make once).

If the ghosts aren't hassling you yet, clear more of the level. It'll help later.

When it's time to get those ghosts, hang around the wraparound tunnels. I prefer the top two as they have walls near them that make it easier to stop at. The ghosts won't follow you through the tunnels unless they are very near so you'll be safe. Eventually when they seem grouped, head down to the power pill. I approach it from underneath as that gives the ghosts an extra second to chase you.

Grab the pill, go for the ghosts. I won't lie to you, this is as much about luck as it is skill. You need the ghosts to be near and to not split up too much. One important tip: try to intercept a ghost head-on rather than chase it from behind.

Once you've done that you can try to repeat it, but the ghosts will be aggressive at this point and you'll be waiting for the last one to respawn. So you might just want to try and clear more dots.

Then you just need to repeat that feat three more times.

If you can keep a nurse nearby with a stock of tranquilizers, that'll help. Also, try to build yourself a joypad made of sponge.

That said, this is marginally easier than it was on Pac-Man.
