This is a guide for you if you wanted to get this achievement at the same time as getting the Proud skipper achievement.
Here's what I did exactly:
I started with a team in Ligue 1 (The French league)
I played as a center forward and played all training matches and each game of the season scoring as many goals as possible and getting as many assists as possible. I got an 8.0 rating in most matches apart from one or two.
as long as you do this the current captain will talk to you 3 or 4 times throughout the season.
I received a red card on the 25th league game and missed 3 matches. I thought this has screwed everything up so I decided to simulate the rest of the games until the final league game which I played and scored 6 goals. After the match I got this achievement as well as the achievement for being selected in the team of the season (League best eleven)
Overall I scored 66 league goals with 15 assists
In the cup I scored 4 goals with 2 assists. I did not win this trophy, I got knocked out in the semis but still got both achievements! :)
