This is not as hard as it seems when you first get there. If you managed to beat King and Duke, you will probably use the same strategies and beat it in a few attempts. It helps a lot to have maxed footwork, stroke and serve statistics, but it's not a requirement.

To reach number one, you'll have to win a few grand slams and be top ten by November on World Tour Mode. I won London, French and US grand slams, skipped Aussie, and still got the invite, i was 8th at the ranking.

It's a tournament on a boat, a single 6 games 1 set match, my opponent was Nadal, but could be anyone as far as i know, most people get Federer, it seems.

You will have to use two patterns here:

1. You serving.
Try your best to max the service on the outer side of the court. Your opponent will 95% of the time return a parallel, in other words, the opposite side you are! Knowing in advance, you will always have time to position yourself to hit a powerful shot. Hit a deep and strong cross court shot, either with A or X, if you want extra time. What you need here is to go up to the net as quickly as possible. Your position at the net will determine if he hits a cross or parallel shot. place yourself near the middle, passing the T line a little, and volley the ball away from him. If he managed to return, keep volleying away from him, until you win the point, minding you position so he keeps hitting the predictable cross shots. If the point extends too much he will eventually lob the ball, so you can finish with a smash.

2. You returning.
Nadal will always serve at the same speed, which was not that great. Not once he maxed a serve. Hopefully everyone else will be the same. It's even easier to beat him in his serves. As soon as the ball leaves his racket, hold X+down left/down right (depending on the side you are), to hit a cross court drop shot. Again, your goal here is to have a long traveling ball, so you can have plenty of time to reach the net. Position yourself in the middle, and volley away from him the cross court shot he will almost always hit. It's easier to win because he is closer to the net, the point will rarely go beyond your first volley.

That's it. It's all about pattern. Playing normally will be extremely difficult to win this match.

If you get it wrong on the first tries, quit to dashboard before the match ends, or eject the disc, reload and try again. Don't let it end, or you'll have to play an entire season again to reach this tournament.

Sometimes he changes the pattern a bit, don't worry, keep playing like this and try not to get frustrated, he will return to his usual predictable self in no time.
