In the mission "Onslaught" you will get a tank in the begining of the mission. With this tank you need to go through almost all the way to the mines. but don't worry. You can get of the tank and do some secondary missions without missing the achievement.
one tip is to stay as far away as possible with the tank, and shoot everything that moves. remember that you have some AI tanks with you, so let them do most of the work for you (if they not get stuck or something)
And if you think you lost to much health, then you can reload the checkpoint.
So it's pretty easy when you know were all the enemies are.
And I had the problem to find where to go after i done the second secondary mission, but then just drive as far to the right as possible were you will "paint" the village.
Also, play on easy, just so they do minimal damage to your tank.

Fayering has covered the basics, i just want to add some infos.
I did this playing on Delta an was not actually going for it. Even on Delta it's not too hard to get. Just stay back, proceed slowly. You can destroy most of the Tanks before they fire back at you. Also try to stay at the right of the map next to the railroad-tracks, like fayering said, since there you have a good view of everything.
If you recieve a lot of damage, just continue till you die, since you will always respawn with your tank with below 50% damage.
You can also do the secondary objectives, but watch out for the rocket-launcher infantry.
The achievement will pop after Strickland sends in the VTOL and you arrive at the roadblock with the mines after a small village. |
