This achievement is actually much easier than it sounds. To initiate Midnight Madness mode you must first complete the 6 missions on the table. NOTE: The missions do NOT have to be finished, you can allow them to time out and they will still count as completed.
The currently selected mission will be blinking yellow in the center of the table. Completed missions will be solid yellow. To start a mission, you must hit the 3 yellow targets at the top of the table (located to the left of the citadel ramp, below the sorcerer's cauldron); doing so well cause the spinning disc to rise and allow access to the cellar. The cellar sinkhole will activate the current mission. Once a mission is completed the table will automatically select the next
To make the necessary target/cellar shots, use the left flipper and have the upper right flipper extended. When making the shot the ball will pass under the citadel ramp and come down on the upper right flipper; having it extended will cause the ball to roll off of it and roll down towards the bottom left so you can grab it there for your next shot.
Once all six missions are completed, the spinning disk will automatically rise allowing for a cellar shot. Sinking the ball there will initiate a 2 part wizard mode/final mission. The first part (optional) is to hit the blinking ramp shots to help save Whisper. Once she is saved/captured the wizard multiball will start. During this mode you will have unlimited ball saves and can rack up massive points.
When the mode ends, the flippers will become inoperable and the balls will drain. Congratulations on unlocking this achievement! |
