My wife just got this achievment, and it is by far one of the most picky ones in the game because of ONE challenge. The Childhood Sweetheart which requires two children sims who were best friends to date as teenagers.
The main thing you have to remember is you CANT have them going steady unless one of your teenage sims has the hoplessly romantic trait. And as we all know, that is not a trait you can put a child. So, in this case, once you make the two children as housemates and have them become best friends, send their little butts off to school and get them on the honor roll. Once on the honor roll, age them both up to teenagers by buying a birthday cake, and it will let you pick a trait because they aged up well. Pick hopelessly romantic, have them propose going steady under the special: hoplessly romantic option and the achievment will pop after you do all the other challenges of course. Its the childhood sweetheart that is a pain though. |
