Craft a Smoke Bomb with a large AOE Range, then go to the Southwest of the City (watch the Video for a exact Location)
This is also a good location to get the following Achievements:
If you fail just enter the Animus Island and go back in the City, the Guards should be back. Climb the archway, throw (if you want a cherry bomb to lure all guards to one spot) the smoke bomb and jump into the smoke, press x a few times.
Shinwasha: Tunnel Exit is Arcadius for people who want to know that.
Tazwaz: I was having the same trouble as everone then slightly changed my strategy and got it first try. I did everything the same as the video did and in the same location except instead of climbing the arch and juping down i did it all from the ground and changed my cherry bomb a bit by making it have the sticky pouch instead of the impact shell. making this change gives the bomb a fuse which gives you a few seconds to set, up change to your smoke screen bombs, and turn on your eagle vision then walk into the smoke and mash the x button while walking twords enemies ** do not hold right trigger because high profile kills take more time to exectute just walk and x button** HOPE THIS HELPS!!

| Load up the Piri Reis Mission: Caltrops and throw the caltrop bomb as the tutorial asks, then simply run up and duel execute 4 guards and quickly execute the last guard :) |

| I had alot of difficulty with the Lightning Stikes achivement, all of the above vids offer great locations and bomb methods but I think the real trick to this is to make sure you are NOT holding RT while performing the third and fourth kills. When you first dive down and take out the first two guards if you hold RT you'll take out the next two by taking them to the floor which has a short but time consuming cinimatic. If you just attack with X without holding RT you simply stab in the two guards in the neck, no cinimatic happens and you can kill the next one or two quickly. |

You can get this achievement while going for;
Normally, people will tell you to use Smoke Bombs. This just makes the achievement more difficult than it has to be.
Load Sequence 4, Memory 1 and follow the guide for Mosh Pit. Just poison all of the guards, jump down and start stabbing. As they are already dying, none of them will be able to move or attack. If you are detected during this time, you can still attack while the game is desynchronising.
I found this way to be much easier than the Smoke bomb method, which always seemed to screw up with me. |

This Achievement is Glitchy, very hard to get even with the videos above a lot of gamers have reported it not unlocking, best way to unlock it is, DO NOT HOLD RIGHT TRIGGER while doing your kills as it makes a sort of an action kill witch takes up time, even doing this it might not unlock, have on you, Cherry bombs & Poisen Bombs, Go to the Very pace in the Video, and repeat untill achievement unlocks, the achievement is not glitches, just dosnt register that you got it in 5 seconds sometimes so if like me this gives you alot of trouble the area in the video is the best place to obtain it as there are alot of guards, Hope this helps, keep unlocking those Achievements

Please give this a go if you are having constant problems with this achievement as many people are.
If you look at King fiShiZ video solution to the achievement, this is the best place in my opinion to do this.
However, like numerous other people, I had the problem of doing this over and over without the achievement popping even though I was inside the time limit.
Instead, use the same location, but instead of standing on top of the archway, stand just the opposite side of the archway from the guards and then throw your cherry bomb just to the left of the stationary guards and wait for them to gather together (dont throw the cherry bomb if the parading guards are your side of the archway, wait until they are the same side as the others).
Before you throw your smoke bomb, ensure you are already in eagle vision to save time, once done throw in your smoke bomb and make your kills.
It popped for me first time doing this method, and the only thing I can think of, is leaping off the archway uses a sort of cinematic and eats up your time for the 5 kills.

At first this achievement sounds really hard but i found that by using this method it's very simple and easy.
I've split this into 5 basic tips/steps to completing this achievement (hope it helps)
1) the basic idea is you want to draw atleast 5 guards into one spot (more can work better) and then throw a tactical bomb so there diffences are down and then rush in and kill kill kill kill and kill.
2) Alot of people use certain locations which mean that yes you do get alot of guards which is very helpful but not completely needed all you really need is a courtyard with 2 groups of guards.
3) alot of people always suggest using a smoke screen bomb to do this achievement which at first seems like it is the best possible one (it also lets you get the i can see you achievement), however I find that using the smoke screen bomb isn't accually the best this is because it obsures your vision as well as theirs making it more difficult to direct your assassin, so i would recomend use the catdrop bomb; this bomb is specifically designed to stop your enemies from being able to defend themselfs (perfect for the job huh?) and still allows you too see everything going on. also it is very useful to use a cherry bomb to bring a large group of guard together making the job easier for you.
4) It is also very useful to find a decent vantage above the courtyard you have choosen. this means that when you have used a cherry bomb to bring all the guards together in a big clumb just below you and then CATDROP bombed them to stop them from having a decent defence you can easily jump down and do a double assassination, taking down 2/5 guards immedatly and putting you in the middle of the group ready perfectly positioned to take down 3 more.
5) the last tip is simple once you have landed in the middle of the preoccupied guards having killed two already JUST SPAM X aslong as you do not stop tapping x you will complete the achievement as long as you have done everything above correctly

Do the Piri Reis - Caltrops mission (see the achievement "Lightning Strikes" for location to start this mission).
The mission requires you to throw a Caltrop bomb at 5 guards who are stood directly in front of you. Simply throw the Caltrop bomb into the target provided. This will cause the guards to hop about which makes it easy to kill 2, then 2, then 1, within 5 seconds.
If you dont get it first try, simply restart the mission which takes around 5-10 seconds to reload and try again. |
