Ubisoft provide no documentation on the workings of the game, so for those wondering how it works...
To earn this achievement you must collect 50 badges.
There are three sections: Activities, Workouts, and Classes. Under each section are types of exercise, then each type of exercise has sessions of varying lengths/intensities. For example, under the Classes section you will find Boot Camp which has 6 sessions of increasing difficulty in terms of length and demands.
Whenever you complete any session for a particular exercise you will earn the Apprentice badge. When you have completed every session for a particular type of exercise you earn the Specialist badge.
In total there are 23 types of exercise, so you will earn 46 badges for completing every possible session. Note that you will also earn numerous other achievements in the process of completing all available Activities, Workouts, and Classes.
However, there are 4 more badges you must collect to earn this achievement... On the main screen you will find "The Visitor" and "The Regular" earned for your 3rd and 10th visit to the game respectively. In addition, on the My Progress screen you will find "Feel The Burn" and "Calorie Killer" which are earned for completing 30 minutes and 60 minutes exercise respectively on a particular day.
You should also be aware that in order to earn the Specialist badge for three of the sessions found in the Workout section you will need to spend Uplay points to unlock them: Legs (H) - 20 Uplay points Toning (F) - 30 Uplay points Sports Preparation (Soccer, power & strength) - 40 Uplay points.
However, as you play the game you will be awarded Uplay points for earning the following achievements: Jump Around (complete any jump rope activity) - 10 Uplay points Safari, So Good (complete an African Rhythms class) - 20 Uplay points Stick To The Plan (complete an objective) - 30 Uplay points Creature of Habit (burn at least 100 calories a week for 4 weeks) - 40 Uplay points
As with the Solid Gold achievement and for reference I have provided a complete list of all the exercises, with the number of sessions for that exercise in brackets.
