I got this achievement in Fornost very early on playing as a Ranger. After you fall into the ruins and are underground, you will pass through some tunnels into a bigger, open area. Head down the stairs here and activate the "proceed to next area" glowing thingy.
At this point, there should be a cut scene showing a band of Goblins rushing towards you. Use your regular melee attack (X button) until an upside-down triangle appears over your foe's head. This is your cue to use your strong attack (Y button) and has, thus far, always landed a critical or finishing blow for me. You have to be quick here, as the achievement calls for 3 of these critical hits within 10 seconds, but the timer seemed forgiving just a bit.

*EDIT* UGotta CheckIt added this in the comments: "With the goblins, a two hit X attack causes the Triangle to appear. So just hit X twice and Y 3 times and it's yours" |
