There is a glitch in the game code which will give you anywhere from 0-100,000 xp each time you exploit it. Therefore, you can achieve elite status in 10 minutes if you wish.
What you do is;
Go into my character, outfitting and reset apperance.
Change the sex of your character.
Accept the change.
Then goto the Dashboard (Hit guide button and then press Y)
Clear your system cache
Load up the game and cancel the update.
Go into my character again and change your character sex back.
Accept the change.
Then hit the guide button and connect to xbox live.
This time accpet/download the update.
At this point the game will reload and the xp will be award once the main menu is up.
Note: This glitch does not seem to work for all people. If people could leave a few details we may be able to work out why.
This has worked for myself and a few friends. The main common factors with my friends and I is that we have all completed the single player story on realistic and our characters started off originally as male. I would also like to know what version your game is (NTSC or Pal). I live in the UK yet for some reason I have an NTSC version of the game.
I have tried this glitch with my other half's gamertag and it does not work for her. She has not completed the single player story and started off as a female character.
Also note, you cannot change your first character details by deleting a game save as it is stored elsewhere. My guess would be either on your gpd file on your gamertag or ubisoft servers.
Edit - It appears that from testing from the people that have commented in this thread that the amount of xp is down the how high your aces levels are. The theory is that every ace that you have over level 20 will increase the xp gain from this glitch.
The consensus is that it is due to the patch that increased the aces cap and allowing it to go higher than 20. |

Elite rank requires 400,000XP
This achievement will require some dedication to the game. You should play a lot of Team Leader games as the rounds are usually over fairly quickly, sometimes giving you up to 400 points for each win.
Since the ACES system has been extended, you can now achieve level 100 in a certain area of your ACES. After level 20 you will be rewarded 5000XP for each level afterwards - so focus on one particular area and you will receive XP much quicker.
Elite rank unlocks Custom Camo which allows you to make unique colour sets for your character, making you stand out from the other non-Elite players. You'll be able to unlock the "Haute Couture" achievement from this as well.
It took me one month to get from 0 to 400K but you should make sure you balance out work and play, like I didn't. |

This is not so much a solution as an addendum to WarmedxMints' guide. I don't want others to have the same problem I did and skip over my comments so my "solution" follows:
Do exactly as WarmedxMints has instructed, works like a charm but, if must be done on the original release disc. That is, clearing one's cache doesn't help with one of the more newly released "classics" version of the game because the update is written on the disc.

GET THIS WHILE YOU SLEEP!!!!!!
Use the million man glitch that requires you to delete the update. (Youtube video is below - not my video btw) Then what you do is load up the checkpoint of the first level. When you get to the place where you have to defuse the bomb assign one of your allies to defuse it, as long as you stand close to him, HE WILL NOT DEFUSE IT. You will know if he will not defuse the bomb because he will say something like "Please sir, give me some room to work". He will just say that over and over again.
Then throw a grenade at the door DIRECTLY behind the bomb, you will kill two guys behind the door and make the turret gunner spawn.
As long as you have cleared your cache he will respawn infinitely.
Move your other ally to the place just between the bomb and the door you just grenade blasted.
You can go hide in a corner so that you dont get hurt. Just make sure you are close enough to stop the ally from defusing the bomb.
You can let your console run as long as you wish and your ally will kill the turret gunner. As of last night I gained about 7000 xp (I didnt have it on realistic difficulty otherwise it would have been 70000xp).

Rank up to ELITE (from scratch) within few minutes without playing!!!
With the "on demand" version of RSV2, the "clear cache / change sex" glitch doesn't work for me...
I've found another solution. I think this is the fastest way to rank up in this game. No need to clear cache, change your character...
So what you need?
- the "on demand" version installed on your HDD with the update
- the "classic edition" disc version of the game (i don't know if that works with the first original commercial release of the game)
What to do? Nothing special... just alternatively launch each version of the game. The way :
1. Launch the "on demand" version from your HDD and press "start" when you are invited to and nothing more special to do there, just quit out the game : return to the dashboard. Then...
2. Launch the "classic" disc version and press "start" when you are invited to and as soon as you do, the ranked up screen appears. Note that is you are ever high ranked up, you may repeat this twice to rank up (i'm not exactly sure how many XP you gain each time you alternate the two games).
Just repeat this to the Elite rank et 'plop' : cheevo!
FYI : i've done this 4 or 5 times to reach the elite rank (less than 10 minutes from scratch). |

There are several methods to getting this achievement(s). I add the S because thats how you will feel after getting the Elite Rank.
*Two words, Terrorist Hunt. This is one of the easiest ways of getting this achievement. All of the enemies spawn in the same spot, you just have to know how to run around the map the right way without messing up the spots they spawn at. And you also recieve more points on realistic difficulty with high spawn rate for the enemies. I recommend Murdertown (not night time), and Villa.
*If you don't feel down for the repetitiveness of Terrorist Hunt thats fine, you can take the route i took which is to go straight into competetive multiplayer. Suggestions: Use either AK-47 with Long Range Sight, AUG-para with ACOG, or 500 Tactical with Laser Sight. You need to unlock these guns through A.C.E.S. if you want to use them.
*If your not a fan of Terrorist Hunt or Online Multiplayer. Its good to do campaign on Realistic. You could also unlock other achievements in the process aswell.
To give you something to look forward too. The Elite rank unlocks 3 Tiers of Custom Camoflauge. You could mix match certain colors. For example i put a Helmet on and i made it a Light Green so people in multiplayer will sometimes think im apart of there team but im not.
