| check the video to see exactly where this is done. the smoke grenade is the thing you throw that signals an ac130 strike. just throw it under the chopper that drops off the troops right after you get it and youll blow it up

Here is my Videoguide.
Its another easy Achievement, after you throw the first time the Smokegrenade, go forward and you see the Videoscene.
Wait until the Heli stops, throw the Smokeg. and the Achievement is yours ;)

During the Mission " Bag and Drag" you will be told that you will have Air Support from the AC 130, You will use the Purple smoke grenades, via Left on the D-Pad. When you reach the bottom of the Stairs you will see 3 Choppers pass over head, the last one will drop off troops, just be quick and throw your targeting grenade under the chopper to blow it up, if you fail, which i did the first time. Just hit start and reload check point.
I will have a video Guide for this Achievement Up in a few days :) I hope this helps Gamers |

| Here is a quick video I made on how to obtain the Danger Close achievement on the mission bag and drag. The achievement is very simple you just need to know when and where to throw the smoke grenade to blow up the chopper so just use my video as a reference.

In the mission "Bag and Drag" you will reach a point where you got support from a AC 130 gunship. You must smoke some targets to get air strikes.
You will see some russian troops and vehicles in front of you, kill them all with the first smoked airstrike, then wait until the AC 130 "reloads" then you just go down the stairs and follow your buddys, now you have to go to the right. Wait until a chopper arrives (from the left), stand in the air to drop troops and then throw the smoke grenade right under the chopper. The AC 130 will kill him and the achivement is yours. |
