This achievement was relatively easy, even for someone who sucks at MGS in general. It is story-based, and will be the first campaign achievement you unlock in the game.
The prologue is divided into three simple parts: The beach, the jungle, and the facility. While this sounds daunting, it should take you less then 10 minutes to finish the prologue, so don't worry.
The beach is the easiest part. It has no enemies, and simply shows you the basic controls again. Equip a grenade (by holding LB and pressing X to highlight it, then let go of LB), then hold LT to aim and RT to throw it right at the fenced area. This knocks down the door and let's you progress.
The jungle has a few bad guys, one immediately in front of you, one up ahead and to the right of the path, and one to the left of the path. The only guy you really need to take out is the guy right in front of you. To do this, you can melee him, but I used my Stun Rod (hold RB, press X until highlighted, then let go of RB) by pressing LT to aim and RT to fire it when I was immediately behind him. Then just walk straight forward and you'll enter the path to the facility.
This section is easily doable without taking anybody out. I went immediately to the left, using cover of course, and picked up the Love Box. I then equipped it and used it to sneak through the level. The building with the guy patrolling the deck, the only building in the area, is where you want to go. Simply sneak past him by going up the stairs when he's not facing you, and go left to enter the last checkpoint and finish the level. |
