For all of the play X games from Y decade, the formula is pretty simple. In general, I'd recommend working through all of the other single player achievements first. I picked up all but 1 decade doing that.
For all remaining decades: Go to archives, pick an episode from the appropriate decade (the top episodes obviously being the fastest to select), click play pricing game (not episode), as soon as the game loads, pause and quit out. The game will save your progress. Just rinse and repeat. The decade I didn't have unlocked, unlocked within a few quit outs.
