As the description says, you will hit this upon hitting 50% game completion. To check simply pause the game in while not in a mission level and all your stats will show. This stat is at the top.

To increase your percentage:
Complete all story modes
Collect Gold bricks
Collect Red bricks
Rescue students in peril
Collect Character tokens and buy them at the shop
Buy spells at the Weasley shop
True Wizard in every level

I myself was at 48% after completing the main storyline. Although I collected here and there along the way.
