By now this achievement should be close to impossible to get without a boosting partner, but it is very easy if you have a boosting companion, it is just boring and takes time.
There are a few misconceptions I have read in several posts across the web regarding what counts as a ranked win towards this achievement, so when boosting consider the following facts:
- It does not matter in which game category you get your wins, but you need to make sure the matches are Ranked.
- Don't mix game categories up. Example: If you have 15 ranked wins in Playground Picks and 10 in World Challenge it will not make 25 and unlock the achievement. I am not 100% positive of this, but 99% at least. I had one win in world challenge and 24 wins in Playgound Picks but no achievement, it did unlock however with the 25th Playground Pick Win. Still there is a slim doubt, as I had shelved the game for a very long time and couldn't really remember where that one win came from. If someone can confirm this it would be great.
- Don't quit out of a game to let your boosting partner win and vice versa. Those wins will not count towards the achievement, even though the ingame statistics will show a win, they won't be registered towards the achievement.
- There are some sources that say you can quit out after a certain amount of playtime and still get your win counted towards the achievement. This is not true. To get a win credited towards the achievement you need to play the full 5 minutes in every match. |
