This achievement can first be attained in Chapter 9.

In this Chapter, you will fight large, armored beasts. These are the Armored Inklings described in the achievement detail.

During the stage, there will be yellow power-up shrines that periodically spawn on the ledges. To reach the ledges, you will need to do some high back flips. Work your way to one of the shrines and collect the orb inside. This power-up grants you Mega Damage.

Now you just have to approach one of the Armored Inklings and land an attack.
