Start up an online multiplayer match on the first level with the easiest difficulty.

Player one just runs around killing everything while player two just hangs back and picks off the occasional straggler. P1 must finish with the highest score.

Once player one finishes the first level and you both are starting the second level, then player two can go around killing everything while player one hangs back and picks off the occasional straggler. P2 must finish with the highest score.

And that's all there is to it. The achievement description makes it sound more complicated than it needs to be, and it shouldn't take more than 15 mins to obtain.
