The opponent will use three moves: Punch, Counter, and Grab. Punch beats Grab, Counter beats Punch, Grab beats Counter.

For a Counter motion, whilst standing still, you lean to either side.
For a Grab motion, use both fists to punch when the "1" disappears from the countdown.
For a Punch motion, use either fist to punch when the "1" disappears from the countdown.

The game is completly random like the game scissors, paper, bag.
Keep doing the same move; you have a 2/3 shot at doing damage to your opponent so probability suggests you will win.
