This is a LONG achievement many people would even bother with there are different ways to achieve this.
1st of all S rank all missions on all diffculties or up to son of sparda this should net you around 300,000 (variable)
Then buy all of the skills for both characters then proceed to beat bloody palace this will net you a couple of thousand more (again variable)
you can then keep replaying mission 9 then after the cutsccene with the altos wait till they get into formation and blast the fireball back at them (SSS) then replay the mission and this should net you 900 a time.
The last method is to go through mission 19 on dmd if you SSS at the results page it should net a few hundred.
If you do this on Son of Sparda mode, and you kill them with the energy ball (by the way, what you do is you shoot a charged shot right when the ball is coming at you, it will go back to them, kill them and net you an SSS) you get roughly 500-700 Proud Souls. If you do not get hit, it gets you around 900-1000. I recommend doing this on Dante Must Die mode as if you do not get hit and do this, you net almost 2000 proud souls. Probably between 1500-1800, if you do get hit, you get 900 guaranteed still.

If you also want to check how many proud souls you have collected all you have to do is reset nero/dante to default (remove all brought moves) and the exact number should be in the upper right.
Proud souls the currency used in-game to buy new moves for nero/dante after completeing a level proud souls are awarded depending on the rank overall and the diffculty level, the achievement is given after accumlating 1,000,000 of these. red orbs are used for buying items (vital stars, purple orbs, blue orbs etc), red orbs are given when you defeat an enemy, destroy the red orb statues etc. |
