All you have to do is complete 50 waves of horde on a Fenix Rising Map. You must complete 50 waves on one map, which means you cant play a couple of waves on one map and switch to another Fenix Rising map and continue it there...
The Fenix Rising maps are the following
1. Academy
2. Anvil
3. Depths
4. Escalation (Remake from gears of war 1) and
5. The Slab
This achievement does not require a specific difficulty, and can be easily completed on casual with the following mutators (Super Reload, Instigib Melee, and Infinite Ammo)
*Super Reload - Can be obtained by getting the Master-at-Arms bronze metal (versus multiplayer) private or standard
*Instigib Melee - Can be obtained by getting 200 kills with the wretch. (Beast Mode) Private or standard
*Infinate Ammo - Can be obtained by getting 100 Combat Engineer Ribbons (Horde Mode) Private or Standard
~And if you want to check up on your achievement, you can always go to the stats and awards section from the main menu and check your progress.~
(But remember it must be on the same map, if you change maps it will start a new count for that new map you selected.)
I found it very easy to do it on Escalation, because when you capture you purchase the command center all the way on the top, you can set up a strong defense and see pretty much everything!
When you get more money, work your way down, and you will eventually have the entire map protected. If your on the top of Escalation, and looking down, there is a huge locust spawn, by the bottom right corner. They all come out from there, and a couple come from behind you. If you get a full active clip, there all going to be chop meat very soon.
