It would be impressive to avoid this achievement while playing the game. Spamming the primary attack button (X), or even your secondary attack button if you have a melee weapon in that slot, will typically register an attack chain. You can't be hit in the midst of the combo for it to count.
Your special combos that you unlock as you advance count as well, but you'll get this with no problem long before you get very far in the story. |

The only people who won't be able to get this are those who can't finish Avatar:TBE.

Seriously though, even if all you do is mash the X or Y button, You should have this within a very short time of getting to Gorhart
Edit to clarify a bit:
*Spamming the button will do the basic chains for each weapon. Each weapons basic chain will be of a differing length & you'll need to make sure each part of it hits a mob. If one of the attacks in the chain miss then it does not count. If the mob dies before the last attack in the chain hits then it does not count. |
