Mark and execute kills count as headshots - Use mark and execute whenever it is available and you will have this way before you finish a playthrough. Thanks to YIP YOO.

Unlocked for me at 50 headshot kills in the 4th level with a rifle. Just aim at their head, one hit kill and they fall backwards. Close to medium range is the best chance of getting a headshot. It doesn't matter if you die and restart checkpoint. Note: The controls for aiming can become frustrating,
