I have created a written/detailed guide with images for you to follow. It has a list by name and if you missed one you can easily find out which one and where. Replay chapters is available, but suggested after beating the game. Once you pick up a manuscript you can quit out.

There are 53 manuscript pages in total, 3 are given to you automatically while playing the game.
There are 3 areas and you visit all three, three different times and some are only available at the certain time you visit.
You can replay chapters in the game if you have already completed them.

The manuscripts in this game are considerably easier to pick up than those in the original.
A few tips:
1. Firstly, make sure you explore every area thoroughly before you continue with the story. The amounts of Taken that attack you at random are quite a significant amount smaller than that on the original Alan Wake. Take the time to look around, it will pay off.
2. Keep your eye on the mini-map in the top-left corner. If you see a question mark inside a circle, it's a manuscript so hunt it down. The question marks really do make it such an easier hunt.
3. Don't forget that you visit each area ~3 times. If you notice you're missing a page, don't panic. Chances are if you've checked the area thoroughly, then it's in the next section.
4. Manuscripts have a tendency of popping up in the same locale more than once. Check obvious areas and you may be surprised how frequently you find repeat manuscripts.
5. Finally, each area will only allow you to travel so far. In the original, mountains and rivers blocked your passage. On this, a sandstorm of sorts whips up and Taken will regularly attack you. If you see the beginnings of a sandstorm, chances are there isn't a manuscript that way.
Hope this helps you out there. |
