Character: Alex
Suit: Alex's Signature Suit
Board: Lv5 Speed Board
Gear: Lv6 Alex's Suregrip Ice Axes
None of that really matters, I'd wager; I purchased Mac, did this as a quick test, and he just barely got gold using the same method with standard equipment.
That method? Tap up on the control stick to start the race, then walk away. About two minutes later your character will find themselves at the finish line in first place. Alex always gets 1:59.36, while Mac got 2:06.xx. There doesn't seem to be a way to disable rumble and you hit a few rough patches, so don't set the controller any place it might fall.
You get 22,700 Credit/EXP for doing this, which you can use to purchase other characters and equipment. Seems like a great way to get all of your characters up to level 7 or so, too. |
