This achievement is Always Prepared worth 10gs.

Mass Effect 3Always PreparedSly StrategistThe Always Prepared achievement in Mass Effect 3 worth 12 pointsObtain two non-customizable suits of armor.

For this achievement to pop, you could either have Pre-ordered Mass Effect 3 from GameStop and have that armor and have the armor you get from playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo. These will pop for ya the first time you access a store. So you will also get this achievement too.

Sly StrategistYes, There is an upgrade. But I didn't take it since I hardly buy anything in ME3.

Gizmo2kSounds obvious, but if you have enough money (100,000 or 95,000 after applying the discount bonus) save your game, then you can buy two armours from the two stores right next to each other on the Citadel Presidium Commons and get the achievement and reload your save. This lets you buy better things with your money at these stores :)

HolyHalfDeadJust started the game and I have these 3 armors:

    - N7 Defender armor (from N7 Warfare Gear pre-order bonus)
    - Reckoner Knight armor (from playing Kingdoms of Amalur demo)
    - Cerberus Ajax armor (from Alternate Appearance Pack 1 DLC)

I didn't get this achievement the first time you I accessed the Sirta Supplies store at Huerta Memorial Hospital, even though I did get Shopaholic.

Like dijonketchup13 points out, you actually have to buy something (a bunch of flowers will do).

*If you would prefer a Video Guide for this Achievement, then you can watch the video provided below, or choose to read a Text Guide.*

    Text Guide:

Your first non-customizable suit of Armor which you can buy is right after the second mission of the game which is "Priority: Mars". Once you're done with all the cutscene's, you can go back to the Normandy and purchase the "Inferno Armor" from the Shuttle Bay via the Normandy Elevator.

Once you complete the third mission of the game which is "Priority: Palaven", you should then go back to the Citadel. Once you're on the Citadel, head to the Elevator which is past two Blue laser-type doors. Then head to the new floor called the "Presidium Commons" where you can purchase the Blood Dragon Armor, Cerberus Armor, Collector's Armor, Inferno Armor, and other accessories. Or head to the "Docks: Holding Area" floor where you can purchase the Terminus Armor from a small store near some Batarians (weird looking Aliens with many eyes). When on the Citadel, all of the Armor Sets will cost 50,000 credits each. But the Inferno Armor will cost 55,000 if you buy it from the Normandy's store in the Shuttle Bay.

Note: You can also unlock this Achievement if you have pre-ordered the game from Gamestop or EBgames where you'll unlock the special N7 Defender Armor. Also, if you have played the "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning" Demo, then you should unlock the Reckoner Night Armor which will count towards the Achievement. Most people viewing this Guide now, will realize that they cannot get the Reckoner Night Armor anymore because the official game itself, is released. You could only unlock that armor before the official game release.

    Hope this helps! Thank you.

Davis 888I don't know if that last statement is true, I played the demo after the game came out (downloaded it a while ago but was not home) and I got the armour still. It was about a month ago, but I am not sure if you can still get it now.

Warzone GuidesI have tried on my other two accounts, and I could no longer unlock the "Reckoner Night Armour". Maybe it is different for people in different countries, or different areas of different countries.. not too sure.

But when I bought my new copy of Mass Effect 3 at Bestbuy (In Canada, because that's where I live), it came with a card which said that you can unlock a special type of Armor for a limited time only. I'm guessing that same card came with your game if you bought it new. If I can remember, you could only unlock the special Gun and the Reckoner Night Armour for another 11 days after the official game release date.
