To make the vast majority of these A LOT easier and quicker do the following:

Choose the Icon A5 from the Hangar, and set fuel to around 5% or less.

Choose the airport you need to land at.

Click it and choose 'Take Off' from the lower right hand corner.

Set throttle to full, cruise up the runway like a boss, take off and glide for a hundred feet or so, then kill the throttle and land again like you're the don.

By all means hum the Top Gun music at the same time.

Repeat another 35 times (though some of the runways are a little finicky to register, so keep checking your Pilot Profile to make sure your number of unique airports and total landings are increasing) then walk away from the computer with a toothpick in your teeth like Henry Winkler.

*There are one or two runways that are so ridiculously short, (i.e. Mauna Kea-Honolii on Hawaii island itself), or at least so poorly textured so as to appear short, that my method won't work. In these cases, just start in the air a little away and drift in nicely making sure that when you touch down you do so on the runway itself to ensure it's counted by the game.*
