The option to begin the tutorial will be given as soon as you start the game.

(If you ignore this and go straight to the game, but still want the achievements later, go to the "Challenge" menu and the Tutorial will at the bottom of this menu.)

The first lesson will be on the Normal moves (punches and kicks). The goal will be to connect 8 times, you can repeat. I pressed X to punch 8 times and at the end of this I was 10 GamerScore richer. Thanks CAPCOM!
