in order to be named Player of the Game, you must have accomplished something in the game that DIRECTLY led to you winning the game. if you lose the game, you cant get this. the easiest way to earn this achievement is as a pitcher. if you pitch a complete game you're almost guaranteed to be POTG. I was named POTG after every single one of my 150 complete games. if you're not a pitcher, the easiest thing is to get a game winning or walk-off hit. but otherwise, if you just have a monster game (2 HR and 4+ RBI) you're gonna get this. don't worry if it seems to be taking a while, My Player mode achievements are extremely time consuming and eventually you will get this. if nothing else, you will be put into some "Clutch Moments", and if you succeed you will probably be named POTG.
NOTE: this achievement MUST be earned AFTER you get called up to the Major Leagues. this can not be won while you're in the Minor Leagues |
