This solution is to help with beating Sabretooth for the final mutation level on Superhero difficulty, to unlock the final mutation gene for the achievement (assuming that you have collected all available already).
Now I found beating Sabretooth quite tricky to start with, especially once he entered Fury mode for the final time. Here is how I beat him in the final level...

First/Upper stage - I tended to use a combination of quick (X) attacks on Sabretooth and would then block or evade his attacks. When he entered Fury mode I would roll evade his charges. Sabretooth will enter Fury twice on the first stage before you knock him off the level. Once you have knocked him down, heal (LB) before following him. (Also collect the two Sentinel Techs if still required).

Second/Lower Stage - (Note: there are three Sentinel techs and a Weapon X file on this level, collect before defeating Sabretooth as cannot collect afterwards, if required). I continued to use the same tactics as the upper level through Sabretooth using two Fury modes. Once he has finished his second Fury DO NOT use your own Rage as I found it best to keep it until the end. Just build up your Rage meter for the moment, and keep it topped up by regularly hitting Sabretooth. When Sabretooth enters his third, and final, Fury engage your Rage (RB), then use Y attack to leap onto him. He will throw you to the ground but this leaves Sabretooth vulnerable to quick X attacks. I tended to strike him 3 or 4 times, and as he was about to retaliate I would again do a Y attack to leap onto him, get thrown to ground and 3 or 4 X attacks.

Just repeat this process and he should be defeated in no time.

You must upgrade Wolverine with all possible mutation points, to do this you must beat all Wolverine levels on the Superhero difficulty (a few levels you will only have to beat on Hero for max mutation points).

If you are having problems with the Superhero difficulty you can defeat the levels on a lower difficulties to level up a bit before you tackle the superhero diff.

Wolverine, like the other two X-Men, has 25 available mutations (five levels in five categories). When you choose the difficulty level of a mission, it will show you the number of mutations that you will earn upon completing the mission. (Typically, higher difficulties yield more mutations).

You will only earn Wolverine mutations in missions in which you play as Wolverine. Note that if you replay missions, any mutations that you've already upgraded will remain in effect on your character, making harder difficulty levels easier to complete if you return to them later. I recommend doing so, as it will save you a lot of frustration rather than going for Superhero on the first try.

Some missions will yield the same number of mutations for multiple difficulty levels (i.e. Hero and Superhero both reward you with three mutations on a given mission). In these cases, I recommend that you pick the lower difficulty, as there is no need to complete the harder one in order to fully complete the game. But you will need to play the higher difficulties if the difficulty you beat a mission on did not reward you with the full mutation payout for that mission. I also recommend going for the Sentinel Tech and Weapon X Files on the lower difficulties, so you can concentrate solely on beating your enemies on the harder ones.

When upgrading Wolverine, I also recommend increasing your health mutations first, followed by (or closely balanced with) your attack damage, and the rate at which your Fury Mode depletes. Of course, If you're finding yourself healing often, you may want to sink a few points into that one as well.
