* Spoiler due to mission name *
You will need to complete all of chapter 3 main missions for it to unlock this mission path. After slaying the hydra you will have to beat 3 missions, the last being The Demise of Orochi X, after beating this level you will get the GOOD ending, and also unlock Into the Fire so you can get the normal ending if you completed chapter 3 before trying Slaying the Hydra again, which is how I did it.
