After you complete the prologue, you'll find yourself in a camp. There's a cinematic that feels really out of place, but afterwards you're given control of your character. Directly in front of you is a bridge, and if you look to the left of that bridge is a merchant. Talk to him, endure brief tutorials, and combine two weapons into one.
Naturally, this requires that you have at least two weapons for the same character, which you'll get by defeating officers in the field. You should have earned at least one completing the prologue, and that plus the one you started with are all you need. Go to forge, select the weapon you want to keep, the one you want to merge, what you want on the one you're keeping, and finally select "Okay" at the bottom of the screen. You'll get a shiny new weapon and nice little...10 GS, for THAT? I think 5 GS would be enough, but I didn't program this game. Stupid math. |
