You will get a chance to fight the Zeppelin in Level 6 of the story. In order to defeat the Zeppelin you need to place Pom-Pom (anti-air turrents) around your base. By this level you should have unlocked Level 3 upgrade for them. I had 3 turrets upgraded to Level 3 and too the blimp down easy. Good Luck

PS - Playing on Casual makes the game ALOT easier
