To unlock this you must invite your friend into the pre-match lobby. It WILL NOT COUNT if you're mid-session and you send a Join Game invite out.
Once you have invited your friend to your lobby, fire up a match, and see it through to the end. When the match finishes you will both earn the achievement, which is nice!
Edit This apparently works with the trial version of the game, as noted by DonkeyTheBaird:
You can have a friend play the trial and join your game, it counts ( its how i got mine) |
