You have to play one full match of the following gametypes:

Deathmatch
Team Deathmatch
Payne Killer and
Gang Wars which includes:
•Turf Grab
•Passage
•Total Turf
•Last Man
•Warfare
•Siege
•Grab
•Delivery
•Short Fuse
•Takedown
•Survivor
•Showdown

You don't need to win any of these matches.
Doesn't matter if you play with Soft Lock or Free Aim.
Large Team Deathmatch, Large Deathmatch and Single Player are not needed for this achievement.

Simply play (Rookie) Deathmatch or (Rookie) Team Deathmatch to complete the 'Standart Playlist Unlock' Grind (kill 50 enemies) and then play one match of Payne Killer.
After that stick to Gang Wars to get through the different modes.
