This achievement is called A New Ally and is for crating your own pawn in Dragons Dogma. You can do this once you get to the encampment(right after you leave Cassardis) and you will start a quest called call of the arisen.In this quest you have to slay a monster and interact with the rift. Upon completion is when you get the chance to make your own pawn. Below is part 5-6 of my video walkthrough for this game which shows me obtaining the achievement in the 6th video and starting the quest in the 5th. The videos will contain spoilers!
