There is a way to get this without paying anything, there is a chest in the room above the Black Cat shop in the Venery area of Gran Soren. it sometimes has a forgery of a Wakestone Shard inside. You will want to save your game incase the shard does not appear. To get to this room, turn right out of the little alleyway in which the Black Cat shop is located, then left up some stairs, climb the ladder to your left, go to the top of the roof. You should see a doorway without a door on a building just to your left and down a little, (easier to see at night due to the light coming through the doorway) this is the entrance to the room you are looking for. Jump across the rooftops, go in the room, open the chest, loot the chest. Achievement unlocked, without spending any money.
NOTE: I have looted this chest thrice, it has contained a forged Wakestone Shard all three times, but others have reported it can take multiple tries for it to appear.
NOTE 2: This can not be done post game, for reasons I wont say to avoid spoilers, but it will be obvious when it happens. |
